2 examples that demonstrate our lending versatility

A good example of our work with offshore companies was a 12-month bridging loan of £6.7 million to a limited company incorporated in the British Virgin Islands. This enabled them to refinance borrowing on three hotels across the UK, and to subsequently exit onto a term mortgage.

From the initial enquiry to ultimate drawdown of the funds, the deal completed in just six weeks.

A rather more complicated example was a loan secured against a purpose-built student block.

The borrower was a fund operating out of Hong Kong. They were acquiring the property through a Jersey company that, in turn, was owned by a company based in the Cayman Islands.
